Passions of Paradise
Passions of Paradise

Passions of Paradise II is a fast sailing catamaran that travels to two Great Barrier Reef destinations daily. Dreamtime Travel drops off daily at the Reef Terminal at 7.40am.
The first is on the true Outer Barrier Reef, where the coral is most dramatic and the second is Upolu Cay – a remote sand cay, surrounded by reef and a unique ecosystem. Trip from $109 + reef tax
Intro Scuba Diving from $70
Certified Diving 2 dives from $90

Check in starts at 0730 at our counter in the new Reef Terminal, located undercover (handy for those early morning tropical showers) and only 30 meters from the boat.

Passions of Paradise travel first to Breaking Patches where we have an exclusive marine park mooring on Paradise Reef, approximately 40 kilometers and 2 hours from Cairns.

With no other boats near by, there is never a crowd, and the coral is pristine. Paradise Reef is ideal for both Introductory and Certified diving and the snorkelling is up close and personal.

The Passions of Paradise crew will serve you a fantastic tropical smorgasboard lunch and assist you in every way to enjoy all your in-water activities. Nervous snorkellers are given lots of help !!!!!
The next stop is Upolu Cay. This is a gorgeous little speck of pure coral sand, surrounded by reef and warm shallow water. You can swim, snorkel, scuba dive or just laze around on the beach or boat.

The view is spectacular, and the reef ecosystem unique. Here you’ll see stingrays, small reef sharks, blue starfish and lots of shells. Make enquiry

On the way home, with the sails up, we go sailing. When the wind blows we go fast (12 to 14 knots is common in strong winds). If the wind is light, we sail at a more relaxed pace. And of course – there is the “Glass Bottom” bar, (ask the crew about the name!), fully stocked for a refreshing drink after a hard day on the reef.
